BERN, Switzerland - Registration is now open for the 2021 World Cycling Forum (WCF) being held of 6 and 7 September 2021 in Munich, Germany. The 2021 WCF comes after a period of unprecedented global demand inside the bicycle industry and during a challenging time for the bicycle business as they grow and adapt to the new post-COVID-19 normal.

PARIS, France - Pascale Gozzi has been elected President of the French national industry association Union sport & cycle. She succeeds Cycleurope General Manager Jérôme Valentin, who has been managing the organization since its foundation.

ALMELO, the Netherlands - A batch of goods was stolen recently during a burglary in one the warehouses of the bicycle factory Sensa in the Netherlands. Apparently the thieves were particularly aiming for Shimano e-bike components next to a series of carbon mountain bike frames.

義大利，波佐萊奧內（Pozzoleone）－Selle Royal的唯一股東DEC Holding S.p.A.和Wise Equity宣佈簽下購買Selle Royal 33%股權的協議。該交易替Selle Royal股東和管理團隊所制定的加速拓展計畫打開一條道路。

COPENHAGEN, Denmark - E-bike sales continue to rise across Scandinavia prompting brands to look at their positioning on the market. Just this week two brands, the Dutch Gazelle, part of the Pon Group, and Swedish Ecoride with strong representation across the region, opened new experience centres to showcase their e-bike ranges.

英國，倫敦（London）－Gocycle為提升其成長中的歐洲客戶群，宣佈成立全新的歐洲子公司。子公司地點設於荷蘭，將負責從德國的中央發貨中心完成歐盟地區的配送。該倉庫會堆放並分銷Gocycle產品和配件，完成該品牌歐盟地區的訂單。

葡萄牙，卡雷戈薩（Carregosa）－Polisport集團已收購Catlike（西班牙高階自行車安全帽品牌）。該公司從現在起將全權負責Catlike品牌和產品，包含其發展、工業化、生產、銷售和廣告。

中國，蘇州－Bafang正為高階電池組的發展及生產投資新廠，該電動馬達製造商稱此計劃為「八方新能源」（Bafang New Energy）－同時也是Bafang於中國設立的第三間全資子公司。

台灣，台北－新冠疫情再度影響台北自行車展展期。主辦單位外貿協會（TAITRA）上週宣佈原訂三月的實體展將會延後舉辦，下屆實體展的確切日期將會於近期公佈；台北自行車線上展將如期於3月3日至31日舉辦。

義大利，卡瓦爾澤雷（CAVARZERE）－Bottecchia Cicli di Cavarzere的義大利工廠於上週日發生大火，損傷慘重。據最新報導，消防隊設法控制住火勢，不過這場火災已經燒毀中央倉庫，面積達約6,000平方米。

葡萄牙，阿格達（AGUEDA）－Eurostat數據顯示，2022上半年葡萄牙兩輪及慢行交通（soft mobility）產業出口成長38%。電動自行車更是成長超過六成。該國已連續三年成為歐洲最大規模的自行車製造國。

柬埔寨，金邊（PHNOM PENH）－柬埔寨商務部宣佈，今年一到六月自行車出口創造5.05億美元的收入，較去年成長104%。除了高需求量之外，新投資法規和貿易裁決也被認定為推動成長的主因。

中國，蘇州－電動驅動系統供應商Bafang的內部測試設施依據北美UL 2849電動自行車標準取得實驗室資格認證。

台灣，台中－全球通膨和俄烏戰爭並未影響台灣Giant Manufacturing的表現。該公司今年第二季度銷售再創新高。今年上半年銷售成長7.2%，達450.1億台幣（14.7億歐元）。台海局勢是否會對第三季表現造成影響尚無法得知。

中國，上海－新冠疫情在今年已經是第三次造成主辦單位延後舉辦中國國際自行車展（China Cycle）。目前尚未公佈調整日期及地點。
