LYNGE, Denmark - Since January 1st, 2023, all Argon 18 bikes destined for the European market have been assembled at the company's European headquarters in Denmark. The Canadian brand is also broadening its retail network by offering direct to retail sales in the UK. Other European markets are expected to follow.

BRUSSELS, Belgium - The Confederation of the European Bicycle Industry (CONEBI) pointed out the dramatic situation of the bicycle industry in Europe in an open letter to the European Commission. Due to the Corona pandemic, CONEBI expects a drop in production volumes of at least 40 percent in 2020, compared to the pre-COVID-19 planning.

REGAU, Austria - In order to continue growing as quickly as possible and to meet current demand, Austrian OEM bicycle and e-bike assembler WSF Bicycle Technology GmbH has launched a crowdinvesting campaign. With a funding goal of €400,000, the company aims to increase the output of its factory from 25,000 bicycles and e-bikes per year to 100,000 units per year by 2026.

台灣，台中－台灣自行車龍頭Giant去年也難熬，不過看起來他們有設法穩住銷售下滑幅度。

德國，維克德（WICKEDE）－為遵循最新歐盟法規並加強公司CSR的投入，自行車零件製造商Humpert為其雙層鎳鉻電鍍廠（double-nickel-chrome electroplating）推出大型投資計劃。從7月1日起，所有Ergotec鋼手把的鍍鉻表面都將改為符合REACH法規的三價鉻電鍍技術（Chrome 3）。

印度，新德里（NEW DEHLI）－Metro Tyres Limited 正準備進一步擴大自家品牌Ortem在歐美市場的版圖。該印度自行車胎製造商在盧迪亞納（Ludhiana）擁有多座工廠，並投資計畫讓其出口導向工廠的車胎及內胎產能翻倍，實現擴展自有品牌業務。

德國，法蘭克福（FRANKFURT AM MAIN）－經過為期5天的創新展出、商務會議、交流，及精彩演講後，本屆Eurobike於週日晚圓滿落幕。各項研究調查皆指出，電動自行車和環保交通產業就長遠來說將有良好發展。不過，仍未見市場期待短期內出現的改善。

荷蘭，海牙（DEN HAAG）－荷蘭人類環境和運輸督察局（Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate，簡稱ILT）已扣押大約3,500輛胖胎自行車，原因是這些產品符合輕型摩托車（moped）法規，但非電動自行車法規。這需要不同的型式認可。胖胎車在荷蘭已成為廣大年輕族群的愛好車款，近期也出現增加控管的呼聲。

印度，盧迪安納（LUDHIANA）－為促進當地製造業發展並降低該國對進口的依賴，該國政府於2020年針對13個產業推出一項獎勵計劃。該計劃的其他目標是要吸引境外直接投資並拓展出口。現在自行車產業也希望能被納入計劃當中。
