Recently Midea announced a 11 billion yuan (€1.56 billion) investment schema to establish a new business for the production of parts for new energy vehicles. The take-over of Motinova is part of that strategy.

AARAU, Switzerland - After total bicycle sales skyrocketed by 38% in 2020, poor availability brought the Swiss industry back down to earth in 2021. Sales fell by 1.6% to a total of 493,826 e-bikes and bicycles. E-bike sales have now grown to a 37.9% market share.
