The Estonia company expects that user-experience will soon emerge as the main differentiator. TALLINN, Estonia - The demand for anti-theft solutions and services in micromobility is increasing. More than 60% of e-bike riders will opt for an e-bike with smart features for their next purchase. This was one of the outcomes of a survey by the Spiegel Institute and commissioned by Comodule.

TALINN, Estonia - To strengthen their joint position in the micro-mobility industry, two Estonian companies Ampler and Kõu Mobility Group have signed an investment and share-swap agreement. Kõu Mobility took over 51% of the Ampler share for an undisclosed amount.

Named Guardian, the company says the innovation is a simple solution to enable safety features such as vehicle locating and anti-theft movement alerts. First samples are available for pre-order and mass production is estimated to start in the first quarter of 2023.

In partnership both companies developed the first model Äike T e-scooter with the aim to manufacture and assemble it entirely in Europe using solely renewable energy.
