Decathlon starts shop-in-shop pilot in Swiss department store Manor

BASEL, Switzerland - To expand its sports range, the Manor Group will open a stationary shop-in-shop concept in its 59 Swiss department stores with products supplied by Decathlon-Switzerland. In line with Manor's omnichannel distribution, all products will be available online as well.

Rose Bikes joins Germany's largest sports retailer in promising shop concept

BOCHOLT, Germany - Omnichannel bicycle distributor Rose Bikes GmbH announced a trading model cooperation with the country's largest sports store known as Engelhorn Sports. Next August, Rose Bikes will open a shop-in-shop at Engelhorn's huge sporting goods retail store in Mannheim, Germany.

Benelux Bike Retail Landscape Changes Significantly

AMSTERDAM, the Netherlands - International Bike Group (IBG) has sold 15 of its Hans Struijk Bikes stores in the Netherlands. The company holds on to 1 store which has been transformed to an outlet of IBG's successful 'Fietsenwinkel.nl' webshop. The 15 Hans Struijk stores have been taken-over by the Belgian chain 'Fiets!'.

Halfords NL Restarts with 45 Stores

VEENENDAAL, the Netherlands - The trustees handling the bankruptcy of Halfords NL have reached agreement with the Halfords franchisees on a restart of the Dutch retail chain selling bikes as well as bicycle and car P&A. The restart is with 45 stores while a further expansion is planned.
