TAIPEI, Taiwan - The 2024 Taipei International Cycle Show will go in the history books as the edition of high hopes, but low expectations. The Taiwanese component manufacturers are eagerly waiting for more order volume while the bicycle brands are confronted with a huge financial burden due to the inventory issue. Taipei Cycle d&i awards adds new categories as application for entry opens

TAIPEI, Taiwan - For the 2022 d&I awards, Taipei Cycle organiser TAITRA has recognised the changes in the global bicycle industry with the introduction of new competition categories in line with global trends in sustainability. With a new curator at the wheel this year, application for entering the award is now open.

Taipei Cycle confirms next edition in March 2021

TAIPEI, Taiwan - In a letter to its exhibitors, the Taipei Cycle Show organiser TAITRA has announced a virtual show in March 2021 alongside the physical show in Taiwan. "We have taken this decision due to the uncertainties created by COVID-19 and the unpredictability of global travel restrictions in 2021," TAITRA wrote in the statement.

The 3-day event taking place May 14 to 16, 2020, as an alternative for the cancelled Taipei Cycle Show, will be a special edition of Asia's largest trade fair for the cycling industry for which visitors get special incentives.

Exhibitor Registration Now Open for Taipei Cycle+

TAIPEI, Taiwan - After rescheduling the Taipei Cycle Show 2020, registration is now open for Taipei Cycle+. This event will take place from 14-16 May. Taipei Cycle+ together with TaiSpo will be located in hall TaiNEX 2. India and Taiwan Join Forces for Electric Vehicle Development

NEW DEHLI, India - Recently India and Taiwan signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the joint development of electric vehicles. The Memorandum partners, the Indian Society of Manufacturers of Electric Vehicles (SMEV) and Taiwan's External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), agreed to join their efforts in the development of electric vehicles through the exchange of information and technology.
