    EU-India FTA fuels Triangle's and Hero Motor Company frame partnership

    The close connections between Triangle's and Hero Motor Company (HMC) have progressed into a strategic technical and sourcing partnership. The two companies agreed to combine Triangle's engineering excellence with India‑based industrial scale at HMC to create a competitive aluminium bicycle-frame-building conglomerate. HMC will get access to technical know-how, while Triangle's can more easily supply entry-level and mid-premium frames for the European Union market.

    Triangle's frame manufacturer sold to investor Semapa

    LISBON, Portugal - Semapa has announced that it has completed the acquisition of 100% of the shares in Triangle's Cycling Equipment S.A. through its wholly owned subsidiary Aphelion, S.A. Armando Levi, former majority shareholder and key executive at Triangle's, will maintain a position in Triangle's board of directors.

    Triangles invests in new production facility to expand capacity

    BORRALHA, Portugal - To meet growing demand for more complex and larger volumes, aluminium frame manufacturer Triangles Cycling Equipments announced a new €30 million investment plan. In two stages, Triangles expects to step up its annual capacity to 450,000 units.

Founded by three Portuguese component makers, Ciclo Fapril, Miranda Bike Parts and Rodi Rims & Wheels, the company developed quickly while relying on innovative high-tech welding robots.

    VOUZELA, Portugal - The high-tech carbon frame production facility of Carbon Team has been inaugurated by Portugal's Minister of State for Business and Digital Transition, Pedro Siza Vieira. The first frames made by Carbon Team have already been certified after passing rigorous lab tests in Germany.
