    IBF aims for European stage as Italian bike market contracts

    "Our ambition is to become an increasingly important European point of reference, while preserving its original identity." Fabrizio Ravasio, managing director of Movestro and a founder of the International Bike Festival, told Bike Europe during this year's event. As a market with deep roots in road racing, high-performance cycling and Italian craftsmanship, but one that has yet to embrace e-mobility to the same extent as its northern neighbours, the IBF demonstrated that Italy is not simply relying on its cycling heritage but is striving for growth.

    ReTyre secures Fundracer investment and co-development deal with Vittoria

    Norwegian start-up tyre manufacturer, ReTyre, has announced a series of positive developments reinforcing its rapid momentum. The company has secured €7 million in new funding in a round led by Hatch Blue's Blue Revolution Fund, with participation from Fundracer and existing investors. The investment is intended to scale production, fulfil existing orders and move the company toward profitability.

    Swapfiets future-proofing its bicycle fleet with circular components

    AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands - Bike subscription service Swapfiets, will celebrate its ten-year anniversary on November 7. Under the guidance of Pon Holding's investment company Ponooc since 2018, the company has grown to have over 270,000 members across Europe. Although, still striving for profitability, the B Corp-certified scale-up is working hard towards creating a 100% circular bicycle.

    Vittoria moves A Dugast production from the Netherlands to Thailand

    BREMBATE, Italy - Only one and a half years after the opening of an all-new facility in Oldenzaal, the Netherlands, Vittoria has announced the relocation of A Dugast cyclocross series production to its factory in Bangkok, Thailand.

    Vittoria opens carbon-neutral bicycle tyre factory in Thailand

    BANGKOK, Thailand - As part of its ambitious growth and investment plans, tyre manufacturer Vittoria has opened a new state-of-the-art factory in Bangkok, Thailand dedicated to the production of cotton tubular and clincher bicycle tyres. The carbon neutral factory will also be at the forefront of sustainable product development.
