“Our implementation team demonstrated exceptional unity and dedication, working tirelessly to uphold the tradition of bicycle tyre and tube production and to revive the brand in the heart of Europe,” says Sáva Térová, bicycle tyres & tubes director at Rubena. “Despite the ongoing challenges faced by the global cycling industry, we have successfully introduced new products that enhance and expand our bicycle tyre portfolio. We were able to do this thanks to the strong collaboration with customers and cycling enthusiasts.”
Road cycling
Historically specialising in XC bicycle tyres, Rubena now presents two new products for road cycling. “Both are ideal choices for solid and dry surfaces,” explains Térová.

“The first new product is the Mirage,” tells Térová.“This is a road tyre with a refined tread pattern, designed for tubeless use, featuring 127 TPI fabric and aramid beads, protected by TEXTRA. The tyre has excellent flexibility, low weight, and enhanced durability for outstanding performance in all conditions. It is available in the sizes 700x28C and 700x32C.”

Térová continues: “Our second new road tyre is the Falcon. This one is designed for tubeless use, featuring 127 TPI fabric and aramid beads protected by TEXTRA. This tyre is ideal for use on roads, where comfort and speed on smooth surfaces are the priorities. It is available in the size 700x28C.”
Gravel cycling

“Additionally, gravel cyclists can look forward to an exciting new product, which is the Eagle,” says Térová. “This gravel tread is designed for fast riding on light terrain with hard and dry surfaces. The smooth center section ensures low rolling resistance, while taller side knobs provide stability and traction during braking and cornering. Low pointed knobs along the edges of the smooth center section guarantee excellent surface grip. Pass through your track with an eagle ease! It is available in the size 700x45C.”
Locally made tyres
With these latest additions, Rubena continues to expand its product range, offering high-quality solutions for a broader spectrum of cyclists, from road enthusiasts to gravel adventurers. “These new models will resonate with riders looking for performance, reliability, and innovation,” adds Térová.
“We have seen a growing demand for our products across global markets thanks to our European-based production and long-standing manufacturing tradition,” concludes Térová. “Cyclists increasingly value locally made, high-performance tyres with a proven track record — and we are proud to deliver exactly that.”
