MILAN, Italy - Confindustria ANCMA, Italy's national cycling association, has written an open letter to Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte soliciting for an earlier re-opening of the facilities involved in bicycle production which have been closed as a result of the coronavirus.

MILAN, Italy - Confindustria ANCMA, Italy's national bicycle association, has released the annual data on the Italian market. More than 1.7 million bicycles were sold in 2019, a 7 percent increase from the previous year. The market saw a continuous increase in e-bike sales and a slight recovery in traditional bikes. There are, however, strong concerns for 2020 data.
