The report argues that including company bike leasing schemes in European Union policy frameworks could accelerate the EU's transition to clean mobility by reducing CO2 emissions, while driving economic growth and improving public health.

ZEIST, the Netherlands - Data on the global bicycle frame market published this month shows an overall predicted growth pattern over the next seven years, with increasing variation in the materials and technology used to produce bicycle or e-bike frames.

ATHENS, Greece - A coordinated raid by the European Public Prosecutor's Office in June 2025 has resulted in the arrest of six individuals, the seizure of 2,435 shipping containers and an estimated €250 million worth of e-bikes, textiles and footwear. Customs officers were among those arrested. Since the raid, Greek customs authorities have reported higher compliance, with importers at the port of Piraeus declaring similar goods at prices closer to their actual value.

VIENNA, Austria - Austrian kids' bicycle supplier Woom GmbH is continuing its growth path with strong half-year results. In the first half of 2025, Woom has achieved its best half-year results since it launched in 2013. Revenue rose by about 41% compared to 2024, reaching €90.1 million.

SWIEBODZIN, Poland - Sprick, a long-standing name in the German Bicycle sector, has entered a new chapter. After financial difficulties led to insolvency of the bicycle assembler at the start of this year, the company is now set to become part of multinational, Singapore-based DuTech Group.
