PARIS, France - Bike-leasing company Vapaus Group has announced the integration of France's Azfalte, a corporate cycling company boasting a 250-client portfolio. Calling France "Europe's strongest growth potential," Vapaus Group says it's excited to explore international growth with Azfalte, hoping to achieve one million new riders in the coming years.

MONTREUIL, France - French authorities have uncovered a vast financial fraud network in a large-scale investigation that involved over 70,000 Chinese-made e-bikes across six storage sites in the country. The losses amount to €6 million.

AMSTERDAM, the Netherlands - Despite still being in the negative, Swapfiets has reported significantly reduced losses last year. The Amsterdam-based company, and subsidiary of Pon Holdings, recorded a net loss of €14.2 million in 2024 — 14% less than the previous year.

GDANSK, Poland - Polish manufacturer 7Anna, owner of the cycling brands Rondo, NS Bikes and Creme Cycles, has filed for insolvency. A Polish industry leader in recent years, the 24-year-old company had become known for its diverse range of bikes, from Rondo's gravel bikes to Creme's urban riders. "We are in ongoing talks with investors and we have strong hopes that these negotiations will end successfully. If this plan works out, our brands and team will be able to continue moving forward, and we may even shift into fifth gear," explains founder Szymon Kobylinski in an update on the company's status.

Sales are doing especially well in the company's Specialty Sports Group division, home to its bicycle and e-bike product lines, including Fox, Marzocchi, RaceFace, Easton and Ride Concepts.
