MONTREAL, Canada - Premium bike manufacturer, Argon 18, has established a new European headquarters in Lynge, Denmark. By merging operations with United Cycling, formerly Argon 18's official distributor in Scandinavia, Argon 18 Europe has been created. The European headquarters will offer a centralised distribution, warehousing and a customer service hub to better serve international partners.
AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands - enviolo has announced that industry veteran and former CEO of Derby Cycle, Mathias Seidler, has joined the company's board of directors. He took up the position in December 2020.
SUZHOU, China- Bafang has developed a Dealer Direct Service concept for bicycle manufacturers who use its complete e-bike drive system. FULDA, Germany - Parts manufacturer, Büchel is encouraging the industry to capitalise on the boom in the European bicycle market by starting within its own ranks. The company has announced an ambitious investment program of around €20 million for the next 5 years to expand production capacity.
TREVISO, Italy - The Pinarello Group, together with majority shareholder L Catterton, have announced key investments in top management creating an organisational structure which has been "designed to boost growth initiatives and accelerate the brand's development".
LONDON, UK - HumanForest, a newly established e-bike provider has raised £1.3 million (€1.46 million) via a crowdfunding campaign. Headed by a former senior executive of Spanish ride sharing company, Cabify, HumanForest aims to offer a sustainable e-bike service in cities starting with London this Spring.
