    IPO for Giant Group subsidiary in Shanghai rejected

    SHANGHAI, China - On 16 June 2022 Giant Manufacturing Co., Ltd. filed an application for listing and trading of its China subsidiary D.Mag (Kunshan) New Material Technology Co. Ltd. on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE). The Shanghai Stock Exchange Listing Review Committee rejected the application on 6 July.

    GIVISIEZ, Switzerland - With a recent ruling of the UK Intellectual Property Office the case between the owners of the name of AC/DC's lead singer Bon Scott and Scott Sports SA the legal dispute has come to an end. Scott Sports had filed the case in 2020/2021 with regard to the application of the trademark for clothing items and sunglasses.

    Robbert De Kock to step down as CEO of WFSGI

    ITTIGEN, Switzerland - The World Federation of Sporting Goods Industry (WFSGI) is to have a new CEO. After a successful 16-year tenure, Robbert De Kock, has decided it is time for him to leave the organisation and hand over the baton to a new leader. The WFSGI Board has appointed Emma (Mason) Zwiebler as Interim CEO from 1 November 2023.
