    'EU states not meeting cycling's potential in Covid recovery plans'

    BRUSSELS, Belgium - Only six European member states are properly integrating cycling into their National Recovery and Resilience Plans, new analysis by the European Cyclists' Federation (ECF) shows. While Belgium has championed cycling by allocating €473 million for infrastructure, etc, cycling is noticeably absent from Germany's agenda.

    Ergonomic expert SQlab acquired by Ion maker Boards & More

    OBERHACHING, Germany - SQLab GmbH, a specialist known for its ergonomic bicycle products has been acquired by Boards & More GmbH, owner of the bike wear and accessory brand Ion, for an unspecified amount. Both companies plan to now jointly develop and distribute further innovative products for the bicycle market.

    BRUSSELS, Belgium - Empty warehouses and low inventory limited bicycle and e-bike sales volumes in Belgium last year. According to the national industry organisation Traxio there was great interest in cycling last year but the market increase was only 4% as there were insufficient products available.
