    Container shipping rates spike amidst Red Sea crisis

    ROTTERDAM, the Netherlands - The unrest in the Red Sea is causing container prices to rise rapidly. Attacks by Houthi rebels have made shipping companies decide to take extra safety precautions or reroute via the Cape of Good Hope. A total of eighteen logistics companies are avoiding this route for the time being.

    Advanced Sports' insolvency plan unanimously approved by creditors

    MUTLANGEN, Germany - A difficult market situation including slow consumer spending made Advanced Sports GmbH decide on 1 April last year to apply for insolvency in self-administration. Shortly before Christmas, the European distributor of Breezer, Fuji and SE Bikes report that their insolvency plan had been accepted.

Although it will continue to operate as usual, the company has filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy protection in Florida.     Stromer partners with Isoco to produce recyclable fenders

    OBERWANGEN, Switzerland - To reduce the carbon footprint of the Stromer ST5, the e-bike manufacturer developed a special fender material in cooperation with Lehvoss group. Instead of sourcing in Asia, the Stromer fenders will be produced by Isoco in Saalfeld, Germany.
