    Simplon shareholders replace management duo

    HARD, Austria - The company shareholders of Austria's second-largest bicycle manufacturer Simplon Fahrrad GmbH have appointed Stephan Wabnegger as managing director with immediate effect. In a rather surprising move for outsiders, the previous managing director duo, consisting of CEO Stefan Vollbach and COO Thomas Zenker, are resigning from their corporate functions and will leave the company.

    Construction begins on Pon.Bike factory in Lithuania

    KĖDAINIAI, Lithuania - The new factory for the world's largest family of bicycle brands, Pon.Bike, has started to take shape in Lithuania. Construction has now begun on the 12-hectare site. The factory, which will start operations in the summer of 2024 is part of Pon.Bike's strategy to produce bikes close to market.
