Being held on March 9th in Brussels the summit will address how policies will affect cycling businesses in coming years.

ROOSENDAAL, the Netherlands - Timyo, the international group manufacturing mid to high-end e-bikes under the brands Van Dijck, Keola and Muon, has high ambitions. Having already established a solid dealer base in Europe, a market entrance in North America is now underway and sights are set on bringing high quality e-bikes to the US. "Our goal is to have 200,000 sales of high-end e-bikes by 2026," Timyo CEO Steve Zhu tells Bike Europe.

TAICHUNG, Taiwan - SRAM has been a committed manufacturer in Taiwan for over three decades, dedicated to producing bicycle components for the high-end cycling market. With an investment in a new factory, SRAM is expanding its capabilities in Taichung.

PRAGUE, Czech Republic - As in other countries, some manufacturers in the Czech Republic are facing a decline in demand for e-bikes and bicycles. Although the production volumes of some brands exceeded the 2021 amount, this is not representative of the sales. Many of these (e)-bikes are currently stocked up in warehouses.

FRANKFURT, Germany - Eurobike will have at least 400 new exhibitors when it returns to Frankfurt this year. Not only is the number of participating exhibitors increasing, the expo area will also be expanded compared to last year, the organisers Fairnamic have announced. Eurobike will be held from June 21 to 25 in Messe Frankfurt.

MADRID, Spain - The production of bicycles in Spain increased last year to 353,036 units, 6.1% more than in 2021, the Spanish Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism has reported. While the year started with a rise in the value of bicycles made, the end of the year shows a completely different picture.
