Lankeleisi launches the X3000MAX with a powerful dual-motor system

With the e-bike market in full swing, demand for stronger and more powerful bikes is on the rise. Customers are keen to upgrade to bikes that focus on performance, durability, and versatility, and in the case of e-bikes, this often relies heavily on its power output.

Founded in 2011 in China, Lankeleisi offers a wide variety of e-bike options including mountain bikes, folding bikes, and fat-tyre bikes. These bikes are designed to cater for different needs from urban commuting to off-road adventures. But it’s their latest addition, the X3000 MAX, that has been capturing the attention of riders around the globe. Unique to this model, this e-bike has been fitted with two motors; one at the front and one at the rear.

Xiaojuan Lin, Founder of Lankeleisi, explains the reason for the shift, “Considering the current situation where e-bikes are underpowered and don’t have a long range, we wanted to design an off-road gravel bike that would allow our customers to travel safely and smoothly in challenging terrain and weather conditions.”

A dual-motor system

The X3000MAX has two 48V 1000W high-speed brushless motors, each equipped with a maximum torque of 95nm. This dual-motor system allows the rider to ascend steep hills of up to 40 degrees with ease and cover a variety of landscapes. The front motor delivers traction while the rear motor propels the bike forward.

“This dual-motor e-bike setup allows for more stable power distribution, optimizing performance in complex terrains or adverse weather conditions. The result is a more responsive and enjoyable ride, whether you're accelerating from a standstill or navigating tricky landscapes,” Xiaojuan Lin adds.

High-capacity battery

One significant improvement is the range, made possible with its high-capacity 48V 20Ah Samsung lithium-ion battery. This becomes especially evident when ridden in more demanding conditions. The company tested the battery at 960Wh, which yielded 70 km in 'electric mode' and up to 130 km with 'pedal assist'.

The battery also comes with advanced 21700 cell technology, which gives it a longer life and makes it more durable. Whether you are commuting in the city or getting ready for an off-road adventure, the X3000MAX’s battery combined with its dual-motor system offers the endurance needed to cover any terrain without having to constantly think about recharging the battery.

Full suspension

Another factor that improves the overall riding experience is that the X3000MAX is equipped with a full suspension damping system, which is designed to absorb the shocks and vibrations that typically occur when riding on uneven ground.

The four-link suspension and lockable spring forks enable the front of the bike to reduce the impact and shock to the rider via the handlebars and the rear absorbs the vibrations from the back wheel, particularly when encountering potholes, rocks or other pitfalls.

Fat tyres

The X3000MAX also features 26x4.0 inch fat tyres, which were specifically designed to provide grip and traction on all types of surfaces. The durable rubber and deep tread patterns provide grip under any condition; be it sand, dirt, snow, or pavement. They are also coated in puncture-resistant layers.
