That's the reasoning behind Bidex's recently announced partnership with New Zealand company Bike Matrix, according to the company's press release.

One of the biggest pain points within the industry comes from figuring out which parts fit a particular bike. Launched in 2022, Bike Matrix is a purpose-built B2B service designed to solve the very issue of component compatibility across an ever-expanding universe of bike brands and parts.

ROTORUA, New Zealand - Start-up Bike Matrix has secured a significant NZ$2 million (€1.1 million) investment from within the bicycle industry. "This investment from within the bicycle industry, brings invaluable market validation, experience, and expertise from a seasoned industry insider." The name of the investor remains undisclosed but Bike Matrix co-founder Adam Townsend confirmed to Bike Europe that it is a component manufacturer.
