Private equity and other investors turned away from the bicycle industry after the troubles at Accell Group, Rad Power, VanMoof, Scott Sports and many others. Donkey Republic proves the opposite. They initially set out to raise DKK 15-30 million (€2-4 million), but due to strong interest, the transaction was over-subscribed and the amount raised was upsized to DKK 75 million (€10 million).

Véligo Location is about to reach a new milestone in France. The public long-term e-bike rental service in the Ile-de-France region, launched in 2019, has unveiled a new fleet of 19 models that will be rolled out this year. BERLIN, Germany - European shared e-bike and e-scooter providers Tier and Dott have preliminarily agreed to merge. With a fresh investment of €60 million, the joint entity will continue to operate under the TIER and Dott brands combining "the expertise from both operating models and incorporating the advanced technology from each service."
