The worldwide bike market experienced another turbulent year in 2025. Under these circumstances, "Pon.Bike stabilised its turnover at around €2 billion and remained a profitable business with positive operating earnings," owner Pon Holdings announced yesterday. JINAČOVICE, Czech Republic - The distribution of Pon's premium US bicycle brands Cannondale and GT Bicycles in Central- and Eastern-Europe has been taken up by Aspire Sports S.R.O. "The partnership with Aspire Sports will allow us to leverage the Czechs' expertise in this part of Europe to increase the presence of the brands and expand into new territories," emphasises Cannondale and GT Vice President of Int'l Distributor Sales & Marketing Seth Brosnan.

MONTREAL, Canada - Dorel Industries has completed the sale of Dorel Sports, its bicycle segment, to the Dutch mobility group, Pon Holdings. For the sale price of US $810 million, Pon now has brands including Cannondale, Schwinn, GT, Caloi and Mongoose in its hands.
