AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands - Retail giant Decathlon and KwikFit are starting a partnership in Amsterdam for the maintenance and repair of Decathlon bikes and e-bikes. The sports retailer has three stores in the capital, only two of which have bike repair workshops. Now, Decathlon customers can also visit the centrally located KwikFit location. If successful, a national roll-out is on the cards.

Decathlon expanded their market share in the otherwise weak German bicycle market in 2024 and reported a sales increase of 8% in the category bicycles. However, exact sales figures have not been disclosed.
MUNICH, Germany - Last year, Decathlon Germany announced an expansion of its digital marketplace portfolio with both the Sushi branded e-bike range from Sushi Mobility GmbH as well as remanufactured e-bikes from refurbisher Rebike Mobility GmbH. Now the sporting goods retailer is strengthening its collaboration with Rebike with a new shop-in-shop retail concept.

PARIS, France - French bike organisation Filière Vélo has introduced the 'Cyclescore' label, a new standard aimed at promoting the French cycling industry while addressing environmental and societal challenges. "It's a voluntary label that aims to provide the best information to consumers," said Florence Le Gall, general delegate of the Filière Vélo.
