    CKC focuses on repairability with biomass pedal

    TAIPEI, Taiwan - Formed in 2016, CKC Environmental Technology focuses on using fibre particulate composite materials from the rice farming industry to manufacture environmentally friendly products. At Taipei Cycle it presented its newest pedal, the CK-TB7, which besides being made of biomass material is fully repairable.

    Marwi Group ramps up parts production in Taiwan with 'smart factory'

    TAICHUNG, Taiwan - Bicycle parts supplier Marwi Taiwan Industrial Co., Ltd., known as Marwi Group, started production at its new 'smart' production facility late last year. Since then, production has been gradually ramped up. At Eurobike, Marwi founder and chairman Patrick Pai and his daughter, Marwi president Coco Pai told Bike Europe that fully automated production at the facility will start by the end of this year.

    TOKYO, Japan - As part of its 25th anniversary SPD celebrations Shimano has released its second commemorative shoe and pedal combination of the year. Shimano's new M200 Blue Enduro/Trail shoe with matching blue XTR style M995 trail or M990 race pedals continues the trend set by a revolutionary design in 1990.

    Exustar Builds New Office and Warehouse

    TAICHUNG, Taiwan - Pedal and shoe maker Exustar has moved its headquarters to a newly built facility. Located just outside Taichung City, it houses offices and warehouse facilities. The company's manufacturing department remains at the old location a few kilometres away.
