    USWE revenue down double digits while shifting to dealer-direct distribution

    USWE Sports Group's shift from distributor sales towards a higher proportion of direct sales to retailers weighed on its first-quarter performance. The Swedish outdoor and sports equipment supplier reported an 18% year-over-year decline in currency-adjusted net revenue for the first quarter of its 2026/2027 fiscal year.

    Sales and M&A strategy secures WS WeSports double-digit growth

    No signs of a crisis at WS We Sports Scandinavia, also known as WeSports Group. The Nordic sports-, outdoor-, and bicycle-retailer has been listed on the Nasdaq First North Premier Growth Market in Stockholm since the end of last year . After increasing its 2026 first-quarter revenue by 51.8% year-over-year, the second quarter reached a year-on-year 55% increase (21.6 % on a currency-adjusted basis).

    WS We Sports Group expands retail footprint in Sweden

    Sweden's leading bicycle retailer, WS We Sports Group, continues its omnichannel expansion strategy with the opening of its fifth Cykelkraft-branded brick-and-mortar location. The new 2,500-square-meter flagship store in Kållered, near Gothenburg, officially opened on 21 May is a major step forward in the retail development of WS We Sports Group AB's Bike & Mobility division.

    Mips snaps up impact protection pioneer for €40 million

    TABY, Sweden - To strengthen its portfolio through complementary technologies, helmet safety technology supplier Mips AB has signed a binding agreement to acquire impact protection technology pioneer Koroyd. "This acquisition positions the group uniquely in the market and enables interesting entries into other adjacent product areas," CEO of the Swedish helmet-based safety provider commented on the takeover. The transaction is expected to be completed this month.
