    Eurobike launches shows in Istanbul and Jakarta next year

    FRANKFURT, Germany - Eurobike organizer fairnamic is expanding its flagship trade fair Eurobike to two new locations. On March 28, 2024, the first Eurobike Istanbul will open its doors in Turkey and from April 30 to May 4, 2024, Asiabike Jakarta is due to celebrate its premiere in Indonesia.

    Vestel steps up e-bike battery production

    IZMIR, Turkey - The production of batteries for e-bikes and electric vehicles have become one of the core new business developments categories for electronics giant Vestel. Located near the city Izmir in Turkey, the company's factories provide a good base for easy access to leading markets in Europe.

    Vestel to expand its battery solutions business

    MANISA, Turkey - Electronics giant, Vestel, steps up its plans to grow in its battery solutions business. Already up-and-running, Vestel Battery Solutions has kick-started its ambitious expansion with the manufacture of e-bike battery pack designs.

    Turkey's e-bike export value quadruples in 2020

    ANKARA, Turkey - European demand for Turkish e-bikes quadrupled in 2020, according to data of the Aegean Exporters' Association. The export value of e-bikes manufactured in Turkey in 2020 reached €32.6 million compared to €7.5 million in 2019, particularly from Accell Group's Turkish subsidiary, Accell Bisiklet.

    Turkey's Vestel enters e-bike battery market

    MANISA, Turkey - Electronics giant Vestel has started e-bike battery production to meet growing demand. "E-bike batteries are our main focus now although we have developed batteries for many other products such as vacuum cleaners, medical ventilators, power tools and energy storage systems," explains Deputy General Manager of Battery Systems, Ilker Gürtekin.
