STUTTGART, Germany - SEG Automotive Germany GmbH has just announced their latest innovation, an e-bike drivetrain solution with automatic shifting in a compact design they've coined 'Kreutzer Hypershift by SEG Automotive'. In cooperation with start-up partner Octagon, the new motor builds on SEG Automotive's expertise from over 100 years of manufacturing e-machines and benefits from Octagon's agile development and integration capabilities.

ROOSENDAAL, The Netherlands - Timyo, the Dutch-based company that designed, developed and jointly manufactured e-bikes under its brands Van Dijck, Keola and Muon, has been declared bankrupt this week. The company had been struggling with issues for some time, including technical defects in e-bike components. However, continuation of the Van Dijck and Muon brands is already in place.

Over the past few years, the Dutch bicycle brand Van Dijck has repeatedly made headlines with its cutting-edge e-bike technologies. To better respond to changing market conditions, the company recently revamped its business model and also changed its name to VanDijck Mobility.
