Wholesaler Region: Europe and /or UK Type: Invoice-based About the role: DAHON is seeking established wholesalers to join our European network. You will represent DAHON locally, supplying our bicycles ( folding bikes, e-bikes, etc.) to retailers and managing your market with support from our global team. This is a long-term partnership for companies committed to quality, innovation, and growth. Sales Manager Region: Germany, Italy & Scandinavia Region About the role: DAHON is seeking a highly experienced, self-motivated Independent Sales Representatives to manage and grow retail partnerships in Germany, Italy and the Scandinavian Region. Ideal for someone with an existing portfolio in the cycling or outdoor sports industry and established relationships with Independent Bicycle Dealers (IBDs). The right candidate will be deeply passionate about cycling, driven to grow sales, and capable of working autonomously. Working with our retailers, you will represent DAHON to introduce our bicycles ( folding bikes, e-bikes, etc.) to consumers and managing your market with support from our distributors and local agents. This is a long-term partnership for individuals committed to quality, innovation, and growth. Key Responsibilities: • Territory Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail partners to drive growth of DAHON Bicycle Group brands. • Sales Growth: Meet or exceed territory sales targets; deliver regular performance reports to International Sales Director. • Product Knowledge Education: Act as a technical resource, matching DAHON products to retailers and consumers’ needs, ensuring proper use and representation. • Retailer Support: Facilitate in-store product training, merchandising support, and promotions in coordination with DAHON teams. • Event Participation: Represent DAHON at key regional events, trade shows, and shop visits to increase visibility and strengthen dealer relationships. • Market Feedback: Provide timely insights on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs. Amsterdam | 32–40 uur | €4.500–€5.800 Bij QWIC werken we iedere dag aan de volgende generatie e-bikes. Als Senior Mechanical Design Engineer ben jij binnen ons Product Development-team de technische spil in de ontwikkeling van nieuwe fietsen, frames en onderdelen. Je vertaalt concepten naar technisch haalbare, maakbare en betrouwbare producten . Daarbij voer je zelf het 3D-CAD-werk uit en beheer je de technische tekeningen . Voor specialistische engineering , berekeningen en optimalisaties werk je samen met leveranciers en externe engineeringpartners . Jij bewaakt de technische samenhang en beoordeelt of voorgestelde oplossingen aan onze eisen voldoen. Wat ga je doen? Je maakt en beheert 3D-CAD-modellen van frames, onderdelen en samenstellingen in SolidWorks . Je maakt technische 2D-tekeningen en beoordeelt productietekeningen van leveranciers. Je bewaakt maatvoering, toleranties, materiaalkeuzes en technische interfaces tussen verschillende onderdelen. Je beoordeelt constructies op sterkte, stijfheid, maakbaarheid, assemblage en servicebaarheid. Je bepaalt samen met productmanagers en leveranciers welke technische analyses en validaties nodig zijn. Je zet specialistische engineering, berekeningen en DFM-optimalisaties uit bij leveranciers of externe engineeringpartners en beoordeelt de resultaten kritisch. Je signaleert technische risico’s vroeg in het ontwikkelproces en bewaakt dat deze door de juiste partij worden onderzocht en opgelost. Je bent technisch sparringpartner voor onze productmanagers en helpt ontwerpkeuzes te vertalen naar heldere technische eisen . Je beoordeelt voorstellen van leveranciers en bewaakt dat de gekozen oplossing technisch deugdelijk , reproduceerbaar en geschikt voor serieproductie is. Je begeleidt technische reviews, samplebeoordelingen, producttesten en pilotproducties. Wie zoeken we? Je bent een ervaren mechanical engineer die graag verantwoordelijkheid neemt voor de technische kwaliteit van een product. Je kunt nauwkeurig en gestructureerd werken, maar bent ook praktisch ingesteld. Je vindt het leuk om een constructie niet alleen op het scherm te beoordelen, maar deze ook zelf te monteren, testen en verbeteren. Je beweegt gemakkelijk tussen conceptontwikkeling , gedetailleerd CAD-werk en overleg met leveranciers . De ene dag bespreek je met een designer hoe een nieuw frameconcept technisch gerealiseerd kan worden, de volgende dag controleer je een productietekening of bouw je een sample op. En tijdens een bezoek aan een fabrikant beoordeel je of het ontwerp ook daadwerkelijk goed, reproduceerbaar en met de gewenste kwaliteit geproduceerd kan worden. Daarnaast: Je hebt een technische hbo- of wo-opleiding afgerond, bijvoorbeeld Werktuigbouwkunde of Industrieel (Product) Ontwerpen. Je hebt minimaal vijf jaar relevante ervaring met mechanische productontwikkeling, bij voorkeur van consumentenproducten die in serie worden geproduceerd. Je hebt ruime ervaring met 3D-CAD. Ervaring met SolidWorks is een sterke pré. Je hebt een goed begrip van constructieprincipes, materiaalgedrag , toleranties en productietechnieken . Je hoeft niet iedere specialistische analyse zelf uit te voeren, maar hebt voldoende technische diepgang om leveranciers en externe engineers gericht aan te sturen en hun werk kritisch te beoordelen. Je kunt hoofd- en bijzaken goed onderscheiden en weet welke technische onderwerpen intern aandacht vragen en welke het beste bij een specialist of leverancier kunnen worden belegd. Je combineert technische diepgang met een pragmatische manier van werken die past bij een compact en veelzijdig ontwikkelingsteam. Je bent praktisch ingesteld en vindt het leuk om prototypes en samples zelf op te bouwen en te beoordelen. Je communiceert gemakkelijk in het Engels en kunt helder samenwerken met internationale leveranciers. Je bent bereid om 2 tot 4 keer per jaar naar fabrikanten en leveranciers in Europa en Azië te reizen. Je werkt nauwkeurig, neemt verantwoordelijkheid en denkt in oplossingen. En minstens zo belangrijk: je hebt iets met fietsen . Ervaring met de ontwikkeling van fietsen, e-bikes, lichte voertuigen of vergelijkbare producten is mooi meegenomen. Over het team Je komt terecht in een compact en ervaren Product Development-team. Met zes mensen beheren we de volledige productcollectie van twee merken: van conceptontwikkeling en engineering tot productie , kwaliteit en lifecyclemanagement van producten in de markt. We zijn hands-on, werken snel en sparren veel met elkaar. Iedereen heeft zijn eigen expertise en verantwoordelijkheid, maar uiteindelijk werken we allemaal aan hetzelfde doel: goede fietsen maken die mensen met plezier gebruiken. Waarom QWIC? Omdat je hier niet alleen aan een klein onderdeel van een product werkt, maar het volledige ontwikkeltraject meemaakt. Van de eerste schets en het 3D-model tot het opbouwen van samples, de pilotproductie en uiteindelijk de fiets in de winkel.
