    Cycle Union and Prophete file for insolvency

    OLDENBURG, Germany - Mass merchant supplier Prophete GmbH & Co. KG and IBD supplier Cycle Union filed for insolvency yesterday. Already in mid-2019 Prophete ran into difficult waters and owner families Lönne and Prophete brought in a turnaround consultancy. It now turns out that this was not enough.

    Bikeleasing take-over financially rewarding for new majority owner

    FRANKFURT, Germany - Private equity company Brockhaus Technologies acquired a majority stake of around 60% in Bikeleasing in July 2021. The German company which supplies business bikes for employers, employees and those self-employed has now helped its new owner set sales records in the first three quarters of 2022.

    Strong export market helps Brompton hit 1 million landmark

    LONDON, UK - Brompton Bikes has marked the building of its millionth folding bike at its factory in Greenford, London. The landmark comes 47 years after it was first invented in 1975.
