According to a company statement they, "aim to accelerate growth and finance future business development." Prior to the IPO, The Riverside Company will issue a private placement.

BAD SODEN, Germany - An important cooperation within the German bicycle industry became public yesterday. It was announced that Europe's biggest dealer cooperative ZEG had become a supporting member of the German industry association 'Zweirad-Industrie-Verband (ZIV).'

VILLENEUVE-D'ASCQ, France - Sports retail giant Decathlon United reported a 6% decrease in turnover in 2020 compared to 2019. Despite stores being closed for an average of 3 months, turnover reached €11.4 billion and net income remained stable at €550 million as online sales grew. "It was a one-of-a kind year," proclaimed CFO Jean-Marc Lemière about the annual figures.

AMSTERDAM, the Netherlands - The technology of nano-sponge silicon has been applied successfully to solar panels. When this proved to work well the R&D focus switched to the use of the technology in batteries. With the material, lithium-ion batteries enjoy a 40% capacity increase. And it could reduce the weight of e-bike batteries substantially.

GEDERSDORF, Austria - Following an initial sales success Austrian motorcycle and ATV giant, KSR Group, will now roll out Malaguti Bicycles through the dealer network of the German bicycle buyers group, Bico. To further capitalise on the momentum after this year's launch, KSR Group has also strengthened the Malaguti Bicycles sales team.

TAMPERE, Finland - In addition to newcomer Valeo, Revonte also has an integrated drive with its One Drive System. Although the corona virus caused some delay, the Finnish company has been growing rapidly since its introduction in 2019. A handful of parties are now testing the system, after which the Finns want to enter the market in 2022.

GELDERMALSEN, The Netherlands — Dutch Industrial design agency Modyn who designs for brands such as Gazelle and Quinny is partnering with Rein4ced and Covestro on a gravel e-bike concept, EGRVLR. With the design study partnership, the carbon frame gravel bike would be produced in Europe using Covestro's carbon fibre composite and Rein4ced's highly automated production process.

VIENNA, Austria - Pon Holding's investment company Ponooc has stepped into Austrian bike route supplier Bikemap. The undisclosed 7-figure investment will be used for further growth of the app, including product development and scaling of the team.

STUTTGART, Germany - The booming bicycle and e-bike market attracts more and more investors. Asset manager and index allocator Daubenthaler has introduced a 'bicycle share index'. The initial listing on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange is planned for 21 June but is already open for investors since 25 May.
