    Mavic to refocus on wheels and OEM

    ANNECY, France - The new owner of Mavic SAS, the French Bourrelier Group wants to refocus the brand on its core business: wheel sets. Co-chaired by Yoann and Jean-Michel Bourrelier, they want to bring back innovation at Mavic but they must also rationalise the other product categories: shoes, helmets and bike wear. They also intend to increase their OEM activity by being more attentive to manufacturers.

    BRUSSELS, Belgium - The existing ISO 4210 safety standard for bicycles was supposed to be extended with a new paragraph on e-bikes. On 1 September ISO officially published this Part 10, but not as a standard, but a technical specification.

    ISOCO starts carbon frame recycling

    Nox Cycles invests in 'Fort Nox' e-bike production in Austrian mountains

    SCHLITTERS, Austria - Nox Cycles, the sister brand of Hawk Bikes, was founded 16 years ago by the late Lorenz Hoser and his team in Berlin. Since 2017 the company has relied on its own close to the market e-bike production site in Austrian Ziller Valley. Now the activities of local Nox Cycles Austria GmbH, based in Zell am Ziller, will be significantly expanded.

    Arcade Cycles ramps up production to meet rental bike demand

    LA-ROCHE-SUR-YON, France - Arcade Cycles is one of the biggest bike manufacturers in France with a production of 50,000 units (e-bikes included) per year. With a strong focus on rental bikes, the Covid-19 crisis has impacted Arcade Cycles' production, but the French manufacturer has succeeded in limiting the drop in activity and is now eyeing an increase of its turnover for the 2019-20 fiscal year as production ramps up.

    比利時,布魯塞爾(Brussels)-相較歐盟電動自行車進口,常規自行車進口在今年1至5月大幅下滑。總進口量減少超過15%,從去年的2,577,256輛到今年的2,181,239輛。台灣因轉攻電動自行車而在出口自行車至歐盟的國家排名當中躍升前幾大輸出國,中國出口至歐盟的量也持續增加。
