比利時，布魯塞爾（Brussels）－進口至歐盟28國的電動自行車量自去年起便不斷增長，目前進口數量已破百萬。據歐洲統計局（Eurostat），2018年前9個月的進口上升36%。自台灣的進口量快速增加也促成了這波成長，不過中國製自行車佔比依舊最大。反傾銷稅也連帶促成許多採購中國製電動自行車的進口商的囤貨效應， 這也是進口成長的原因之一。

荷蘭，杜廷荷姆（Doetinchem）－電動自行車反傾銷案大局已定，生產也將從中國流向其他國家，包含歐洲。2018年中國進口至歐盟的電動自行車共有75萬台，其中絕大部份都將移地生產。由於這一大部份都將移到歐洲生產，也讓在歐洲採購車架變得更加艱難。Bike Europe在去年11、12月參加台北自行車展及越南展期間，針對鋼管車架及合金車架製造發展做了調查。

OBERWANGEN, Switzerland - Swiss speed pedelec specialist myStromer AG returned to profitability after it saw its sales grow by 20 percent last year. With that a successful restructuring process was completed which had drastic consequences for, among others, the supply chain of the company.

The Czech company Comp Drives,that produces mid-motors C17/C18 with intelligent shifting GSGI, started a cooperation with Apache Bicycle. The Apache MY2019 offer is expanded with 7 ebike models with C18 motors. Comp Drives is establishing its market position and is becoming more and more known abroad.

BRUSSELS, Belgium - The import of electric bicycles into the European Union's 28 member states has been growing to over 1 million units last year. According to Eurostat, that e-bike import showed a rise of 36 percent in the first nine months of 2018.

DOETINCHEM, the Netherlands - With the e-bike anti-dumping case now finalized it's clear that production will shift from China to other countries including to Europe. It would involve the production relocation of a big part of the 750,000 electric bicycles that were imported into the EU from China in 2018.

CAMBRIDGE, UK - The Bicycle Association of Great Britain (BAGB) has 'soft-launched' its brand-new market data service that includes UK sales data covering bikes, parts and accessories.

MORGAN HILL, USA - Specialized Bicycle Components announced a voluntary recall of specific 'Roubaix', 'Ruby', 'Diverge' and 'Sirrus' road models. They are specified with the brand's own innovative front damping system 'Future Shock'.
