    Information gap at purchasing level delays industry recovery

    FRANKFURT, Germany - The fragmentation in the industry is more and more hampering the development of the business. The large number of companies often operate in a limited part of the market, which makes it difficult to gather enough information. This lack of data makes it very difficult to manage the supply chain efficiently. Eurobike and Bike Europe jointly created the Global Bicycle Purchasing Index aimed at creating a benchmark for purchase and product managers.

    ZIV reports signs of recovery in German bicycle market

    FRANKFURT, Germany—The German industry association ZIV opened Eurobike with positive market news, but its CEO, Burkhard Stork, toned down expectations. "The sales and production figures for the first quarter this year are very positive, but the market recovery could not be continued from April and May 2025," said Stork on Tuesday.

    Rising e-bike exports from Taiwan stagnate in May; recovery delayed?

    TAIPEI, Taiwan - For the first 4 months of the year, Taiwanese customs data showed that the country's bicycle industry was showing the first signs of recovery after years of global market stagnation.
