    Austrian ski brand name Kneissl enters e-bike market with first range

    NUSSDORF-DEBANT, Austria - In April the first e-bike range will be manufactured under the Austrian ski brand name, Kneissl, at Atala's factory in Italy. This will then roll out exclusively via Fitstore24 Zanier GmbH from May onwards, both through IBDs and direct sales into the German-speaking market.

    MONZA, Italy - Founded in 1907, Atala is one of Italy's largest bicycle manufacturers and since it became part of the Accell Group in 2010, it has been given a head-start in the e-bike category. Based in Monza, a few kilometers away from Milan, the brand produces all kinds of bicycles and e-bikes as well as home trainers. Bike Europe interviewed CEO Massimo Panzeri who shared his experiences of how Atala is positioned to handle the unprecedented growth in demand as a result of the pandemic.
