BRUSSELS, Belgium - Bicycles and their components will soon be traded between the European Union and Indonesia under a zero-tariff agreement, which would boost the flow of imports and exports from both sides. After nine years of negotiations, the European Union and Indonesia finalised the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA).

The unification of CONEBI and CIE should allow the industry to put more weight on the table in discussions with the European Commission. BRUSSELS, Belgium - The industry is making preparations for the Digital Product Passport (DPP) as this regulation will apply to the first relevant product category from 18 February 2027. At that time, its application will become mandatory for specific battery types.
