    BARCELONA, Spain - The strategy to concentrate on 'Powered Two-Wheelers' by Pierer Mobility AG led to the announcement to part ways with its pure bicycle and e-bikes brands Felt Bicycles and R Raymon. The company wanted to focus on motorcycles and e-bikes including the brands Husqvarna and GasGas E-Bicycles. After the publication of this new strategy, it turned out that Felt Bicycles was still somehow part of Pierer Mobility. To shed some light on the situation, Bike Europe sat down with Felt Bicycles managing director Florian Burguet.

    WELS, Austria - In a remarkable move, Pierer Mobility AG has decided to focus on its core business of Powered-Two-Wheelers and to concentrate on its premium brands KTM, GasGas and Husqvarna as well as MV Agusta. As a consequence, the non-e-bike segment, including Felt is disinvested.

    Pierer Mobility struggles to meet demand as e-bike sales dip

    MATTIGHOFEN, Austria - Despite aggravated delivery problems, Austrian two-wheeler giant Pierer Mobility AG was able to record a positive sales value performance in the first six months of the year. As far as unit sales are concerned, however, the demand for e-bikes could not quite be met.

    WELS, Austria - Austrian powered-two-wheeler giant Pierer Mobility AG has received approval for listing on the Prime Market of the Vienna Stock Exchange. The listing is scheduled for 1 March which will make it one of the 39 largest and most traded companies on the Vienna Stock Exchange.

    ST-JEAN-DE-MOIRANS, France - Pierer Mobility Group is the new owner of the brand Felt. The acquisition is part of Pierer's strategy "to assume a leading global role in the bicycle sector" as the Austrian company announced. For Rossignol interim ownership of the American brand was just a way to gain bicycle competence.
