A working prototype shown at Eurobike 2026 collapses the two into a single process, and points toward a wheelbuilding line that runs without an operator.

ROSA, Italy - Component manufacturer Ursus developed the new RD50 hubs with a focus on the construction precision during manufacturing. According to Ursus they have reduced the tolerances to the nearest micron, while every single dimension is subject to extreme measurements during the production process.
