    reTyre completes Norwegian tyre factory and ramps up production

    SKI, Norway - Just south of Oslo, the first highly automated tyre factory of reTyre has been completed after a construction period of 10 months. "We are the world's first tyre company that can injection-mold tyres instead of manual vulcanization," said eTyre COO Alexander Gjendem Gjørven, who has raised more than 200 million Norwegian kroner (€17.2 million) for reTyre.

    Shimano Nordic steps into BikeFolder bicycle data project

    OSLO, Norway - The innovative software of BikeFolder might potentially create so much relevant data for the industry, that Shimano Nordic announced a partnership with the start-up in the Nordic region. BikeFolder offers a solution for bicycle manufacturers that gives them insights into where their products go once they leave the factory and what happens during their lifecycle.

    Frog kids bikes launching partner for reTyre

    SKI, Norway - As the first pneumatic bicycle tyre manufacturer who claims not to use rubber, reTyre can start mass production of their kids bike range. Together with launching partner Frog, the Norwegian company displayed their kids bikes tyre range at Eurobike.

    SKI, Norway - reTyre claims to be the first manufacturer able to mass produce pneumatic tyres without rubber. "Our uniquely patented production method differs significantly from the existing production process that takes place today with vulcanised rubber," says Ben Evans, CCO of reTyre. In this interview he unlocks the potential to reduce the carbon footprint of vulcanised tyres massively.

    reTyre accelerates production of 100% reusable tyre

    SKI, Norway - At Eurobike, reTyre introduced its sustainable, rubber-free tyres made from bio-based elastomers which allow for fully reusable tyres in a closed-loop circular economy. Now, in a sign that that the industry has accepted the product, the Norwegian company is accelerating the production of its tyres by expanding its production facility.
