German tyre specialist Schwalbe has undertaken a comprehensive realignment of its tour and everyday cycling portfolio, restructuring its range into three clearly defined product families: Marathon, Motion, and Hybrid. By consolidating its offering, the brand aims to simplify point-of-sale guidance, streamline inventory management across the global bike trade, and set a unified structural benchmark for its overarching brand architecture.

Bicycle tyre manufacturer Schwalbe has announced the completion of a long-planned generational leadership transition, with the new management structure taking effect on 1 January 2027. After around three decades in executive leadership, Frank Bohle, Andreas Grothe and Holger Jahn will step down from their managing director roles, while Nico Simons will remain Managing Director and Chief Commercial Officer, responsible for global sales.

In close partnership with industry organisations such as Shift Cycling Culture as well as industry leaders, Canyon initiated the development of the Supply Chain Code of Conduct. For this process, expertise on human rights due diligence and environmental responsibility was also brought together.

Schwalbe is modernising and expanding its warehouse capacities in Vietnam in close cooperation with its long-term logistics partner Kuehne+Nagel. The project is part of their long-term strategy to supply customers even faster and more reliably in the future.
