    Shifting gears: Europe's new standard for e-cargo bikes

    GENEVA, Switzerland - E-cargobikes are becoming an increasingly common sight on our city streets. They offer a sensible and sustainable alternative to fossil-fuel-powered vehicles. However, without strict safety standards, they also present a risk to riders and other road users.     Bafang supports e-bike development with own EMC Laboratory

    SUZHOU, China - After two years and a capital investment of more than ¥10 million (€1.44 million), Bafang has completed the building of an Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) laboratory, becoming one of the few companies in the global electric system industry to own such a facility. The e-bike drive system manufacturer says that the new facility "will substantially and positively impact Bafang's product development, driving up quality and efficiency while reducing costs".

    ACT Lab enters Europe with bike testing facility in Prague

    PRAGUE, Czech Republic - Californian ACT Lab LLC, which claims to be "the leading provider of product safety and compliance testing for mobility, outdoor and lifestyle products," was at this year's Eurobike with a team of nine. They beat the drums for its planned ACT Lab laboratory in Europe which will serve as a test lab for Eastern European bicycle manufacturers.

    Environmental impact tests now offered by velotech

    SCHWEINFURT, Germany - The environmental impact of micromobility products has gained importance over the last few years.
