Developed in collaboration with experts in consumer research and safety technology, the new series aligns from the beginning with the updated 2022 EU standard for safety in bicycle child seats, the EN 14344 standard. Currently, other manufacturers have been trying to adapt existing models designed before the change to meet these important new regulations.
Minimal design, maximum protection
The Prodigee ICON series consists of two child seats, one front and one rear which can mount on the frame or rear rack. Designed to complement modern bicycles or e-Bikes, through a futuristic-minimalist design, they are characterised by ergonomic details and compliance with the latest EU safety standards including improved side protection, as well as the careful use of EVA foam to enhance comfort for children.
The front seat features an integrated handlebar for added stability and fun for small children, while the rear seat has an adjustable backrest for growing bodies. Both versions are equipped with adjustable, secure footrests.

Passenger protection
However, the top priority is passenger protection: "Patented design solutions combined with state-of-the-art technology ensure that children are as safe as possible at all times." According to the manufacturer, another product, the ICON bicycle trailer, is expected to be launched in 2024. It is currently in development and promises innovative features not currently found on most trailers on the market today.
