    Taipei Cycle awards follow the electrification trend

    TAIPEI, Taiwan - At the Taipei Cycle 2022 kick-off event yesterday in Taipei, the winners of the annual design and innovations awards were revealed. A total of 33 entries were awarded of which 4 in the category 'e-bikes and drive units'. The six Gold Awards will be unveiled on the first day of Taipei International Cycle Show on 9 March 2022.

    Taipei Cycle postponed again, online show still on track for March

    TAIPEI, Taiwan - COVID-19 is once again turning the Taipei Cycle show schedule upside down. This morning show organiser TAITRA (Taiwan External Trade Development Council) announced that the physical show for next March has been postponed. The date for the next physical shows will be announced soon.

    Taiwan e-bike exports rise 20% during turbulent 2020

    TAIPEI, Taiwan - The Taiwanese bicycle industry is set to prosper in 2021. Record-low inventory at distributors, new lifestyle trends and continued growth momentum in the e-bike sector during the post-COVID-19 pandemic period will drive market growth forward, industry experts say. According to Taiwan's customs data, e-bike exports hiked in 2020 by almost 20% to more than 759,000 units.
