ROSÀ, Italy - Italian bicycle parts and accessories manufacturer Ursus S.p.A. has acquired a majority stake in component manufacturer Saccon S.r.l. The transaction includes Sacconplast, the in-house division for high-quality "Made-in-Italy" plastic components. At least this is the vision of Chinese manufacturer T&D who is developing a semi-solid state e-bike battery which provides 830Wh at only 3.2kg. Small-scale production is expected to commence this year.
