Prologo's Proxim line the official saddle partner of Enduro World Series

The Proxim saddles powered by Prologo will be the official saddles of the entire Enduro World Series (EWS) an E-EWS circuit. Seventeen stages around the world to determine the best Enduro rider and to develop the best gravity saddle.

Prologo and Proxim

In Prologo we are Pioneers, not followers. For years we have been creating the perfect ride experience, pushing the boundaries further, and seeking new performance levels. The Prologo saddles and sponsored athletes have won everything in the road, TT and XC worlds, the only trophy we miss is in the Enduro World, but not for long.

Our experience in the road and race environment was then moved to the Gravity and e-gravity world, creating the innovative unisex and multicategory saddle line: Proxim powered by Prologo. Born for the e-bike, perfect for every session, preferably a gnarly and downhill one.

This new line was developed together with two big names: One was Politecnico di Milano, the biggest technical university in Italy, the other was Marco Aurelio Fontana: ex pro rider now involved in the E-bike world. The researchers helped us to develop the MSS, multi-sector system that divides the saddle into five different zones with different densities and foam to support the different movements of the rider.

Fontana tested the technologies during his training sessions and races, giving us precious feedback to develop a high-end and specific product. With these premises the Proxim line became the official saddle partner of the Enduro and E-enduro world series for three consecutive years, supporting the entire Enduro movement and its riders.

A special collaboration whose goal is to support the entire Enduro movement and its athletes, but also to gain further feedback to develop the best Enduro products. From Prologo's production experience to the insights of the best athletes and enthusiasts of this world.

The product

Through this experience, the Proxim range has been composed of 7 different models, which offer different options in terms of width, structure and cushioning. The line is divided into two precise categories: Performance and Sport.

Prologo Proxim

The first one provides narrower saddles, with more performing rails and a grip cover to maximize stability. The sport category is composed of more padded and wider models.

W650 performance

Prologo Proxim

The top of the range is the Proxim W650 performance, available in two widths: 145 and 155 mm. The rail is in Tirox light alloy steel to preserve lightness and resistance. The MSS (Multi Sector System) has been developed together with Polytechnic in Milan and divides the saddle into 5 separate and independent sections that adapt to the different positions of the cyclist.

Finally, the drainage channel (PAS) designed by Prologo eliminates discomfort and numbness by promoting blood flow. In the Sport version the rail is in chrome steel and the width is fixed at 155 mm.

W450

Prologo Proxim

The W450 presents the same technological innovation in terms of rail and MSS system, but it is a closed version with the Active Base System, a system that allows to combine the advantages of the relief channel and of a closed saddle: the base is hollow but covered, to eliminate pressure peaks and at the same time maximize the available surface and protect the rider from mud and water splashes.

W400

Finally, the W400, both in the performance (width 153mm) and Sport (width 163 mm) version, and the W350 conclude the line to offer maximum comfort to those who are approaching the world of Ebike and gravity.

About EWS and E-EWS

The Enduro World Series and EWS-E are the very forefront of international mountain bike racing. Since 2013 the series has been responsible for pushing mountain bike design into ever faster, ever stronger places.

Enduro World Series race bikes require the ultimate attention to detail. Strength must be tempered with light weight and ergonomics which allow a racer to focus on nailing their fastest lines, deep into the final stage.

The capabilities of enduro bikes are ever expanding and by racing them all over the world, in every kind of dirt, in every kind of weather, the Enduro World Series never stops redefining what is possible on a mountain bike.
