The site, previously operated by the Romet brand, comprises almost 14,000m² of production, warehouse and office space on an 8.7-hectare plot. The transaction includes ownership of the buildings and perpetual usufruct rights to the land until 2089. The facility is being offered as a functioning industrial complex that can be brought into operation with minimal lead time.
Modernised for contemporary manufacturing
The plant has undergone significant investment in recent years, including the construction and expansion of production areas, warehouse modernisation and the addition of a paint shop in 2022. The infrastructure supports a range of manufacturing and assembly activities associated with the bicycle and e-bike sectors.
Production buildings, warehousing facilities and administrative offices are supported by existing utilities and technical installations, including electricity with intermediate-voltage supply, gas, water, compressed air systems and telecommunications infrastructure. Most facilities are reported to be in good or very good condition and have remained in continuous production use.
Strategic location in a key bicycle-producing country
Located in the Greater Poland region, the site benefits from direct access to major transport routes, including the DK11 and DK22 national roads. It is situated approximately 200km from both the port of Gdynia and the German border crossing at Kostrzyn nad Odrą, providing efficient connections to European supply chains and export markets.
Poland remains one of Europe's leading bicycle manufacturing countries, offering access to an established supplier network and an experienced workforce. These factors may be particularly relevant for manufacturers considering nearshoring, capacity expansion or supply chain diversification within Europe.
Flexibility for future development
Under the local development plan, the site is designated for production, warehousing and storage activities. While its existing layout is well suited to bicycle and e-bike operations, the scale of the property also allows for alternative industrial, logistics or warehousing applications.
In addition to the real estate itself, options are available for the acquisition or lease of the complete machinery and equipment park currently on site. Qualified personnel and operational know-how may also be transferred as part of a future agreement.
As European demand for bicycle and e-bike production capacity continues to evolve, the availability of a turnkey facility of this scale is likely to attract attention from both industry operators and investors.
