The collaboration will be officially unveiled during the Eurobike show from June 24-27 in Frankfurt. The launch includes three new Raymon Bicycles model families designed to address some of the fastest-growing segments in the market.
For Raymon Bicycles, the launch represents a strategic expansion into the growing lightweight e-bike segment. “And for us, it further strengthens our ambition to become a leading European alternative in the drive-system market,” says Luca Gilioli, sales director of OLI eBike Systems.
New range
Gilioli tells us more about the launch: “The new range includes Numa, developed for urban mobility and daily commuting, Varno, targeting trekking and leisure riders, and Zorq, designed for off-road adventures. Despite their different applications, all three platforms share the same technological heart: our new PICO drive unit.”

Specifically developed for lightweight e-bikes, the PICO delivers 70Nm of torque while weighing less than 2.5kg. “Its compact dimensions allow seamless integration into the bicycle frame, enabling manufacturers to create clean, modern designs without sacrificing riding performance,” Gilioli adds. “The motor has been engineered to provide strong acceleration, quiet operation and a natural riding feel, making it suitable for urban, trekking and recreational applications alike.”
Italian origin
Headquartered in Cesena, in the heart of Italy's Motor Valley, OLI eBike Systems specialises in the development and production of complete e-bike drive systems. The company celebrated its tenth anniversary in 2025 and combines the experience gained in the e-bike sector with the industrial heritage of OLI Group, which has more than sixty years of manufacturing expertise.
“Supporting this growth is our increasingly international production and service structure,” emphasises Gilioli. “Alongside our Italian headquarters, we operate manufacturing facilities in China and Vietnam, allowing us to remain close to Far Eastern assembly operations while maintaining our European engineering base.”

Service network
Service and after-sales support have become a central pillar of the company's strategy. OLI has established six logistics hubs across Europe, located in Italy, Germany, France, Spain, the UK and the Nordics. These facilities support a centralised technological service centre based in Cesena, where a multilingual technical team manages diagnostics, warranty procedures and customer support in six languages.
The service network is further strengthened by technical sales support specialists operating directly in key European markets. These specialists provide training and field support to OEMs, brands and dealers. “It is our goal to deliver fast, structured and reliable assistance throughout the product lifecycle,” says Gilioli.

Roadmap for the future
Beyond the launch of the new Raymon Bicycles platforms, visitors to the OLI booth at Eurobike will also be able to discover the company's future development roadmap.
“Alongside the PICO and the established EDGE 2.0 drive system, we will showcase two new e-drive systems currently under development for the 2028 model year,” explains Gilioli. “The first, Polo, marks a new direction. Designed specifically with urban mobility in mind, Polo is an ultra-lightweight hub motor focused on maximising efficiency, minimising weight and enabling a versatile and smooth power delivery to a new generation of agile city e-bikes.”
“The second development is Dante,” he continues. “This is a new-generation mid-drive motor designed to succeed the current EDGE 2.0 platform. Combining compact dimensions with full-power assistance, Dante is intended to become our flagship solution for trekking e-bikes and e-mountain bikes. It offers a balance between performance, integration and versatility.”

Innovation and sustainable mobility
Together, the launch of the PICO-powered Raymon Bicycles range and the preview of future drive technologies underline OLI eBike Systems' long-term commitment to innovation and sustainable mobility.
“As the European market continues to evolve toward lighter, smarter and more versatile electric bicycles, the partnership between Raymon and OLI demonstrates how collaboration between bicycle manufacturers and drive-system specialists is helping shape the next generation of urban mobility,” concludes Gilioli.
