NANTOU, Taiwan - The transition from a bicycle to e-bike centered industry brought major changes to Taiwan's export industry. New companies have been founded in the past few years while also the country's renowned electronics industry is presenting itself more explicitly in the e-bike industry. One of the recent starters in the e-bike industry is Yota Cycles, founded in 2020.

LONDON, England - Laka, an insurtech providing a range of insurance and circular economy services to e-bike riders, cyclists and companies has announced a €7.6 million funding round as it "doubles down on growth" with the rise of e-bike sales in Europe. Additionally, the Porsche-backed company has acquired French e-bike broker Cylanto to expand its presence in France.

SCHWEINFURT, Germany - Tuning an e-bike highly increases the risk of the batteries catching on fire. Driving at higher speed requires more energy output which does not match with the setting of the battery management system.
