    IRVINE, United States - The long-awaited, much-hyped e-bike launch from Also, Inc., the micromobility spinoff of e-car manufacturer Rivian, is here. Though there have been a couple of leaked photos drifting around the internet, the California-based start-up has managed to keep most of the new bike's specs under wraps — until its launch on 22 October.

    Niche Mobility's digital drivesystem readying for production in 2026

    GIRONA, Spain - "We're not just replacing derailleurs — we're replacing complexity," says Marc Barceló, CEO and founder of Niche Mobility. The new player in the e-bike system market has built a fully digital drivetrain from scratch and is on course for an OEM launch in model year 2027.     European component manufacturer sees further contraction in e-bike motor market

    SCHRAMBERG, Germany - The market shows initial signs of a measured rebound, though the improvement still has yet to extend across the entire supply chain. The manufacturer of e-bike drive components, hGears reports that, "the sales volume of e-bikes in Europe during the first half of 2025 is estimated to be roughly on par with the previous year, but European e-bike production has not recovered as expected."
