    Orbea doubles down on market strategy amid stabilising revenue

    Basque bicycle manufacturer Orbea reported a limited 2.3% decline in revenue for 2025, a small reduction in revenue that the cooperative attributes to its continuous market monitoring and disciplined management of a "responsible sales plan." This contrasts with 2024, when Orbea reported an 8% year-over-year decline in turnover, suggesting that profitability and margin performance stabilised considerably in 2025.

    Orbea and Upway partner to boost circular economy of e-bikes

    PARIS, France - Upway, the online platform for reconditioned electric bikes, has launched a strategic partnership with the Spanish bike brand Orbea to give e-bikes a second life and support the sales of new e-bikes at the same time. In a move to strengthen the circular economy of e-bikes by including established industry players, a trade-in program is now live at Orbea retailers across several European countries.

    Orbea report slight sales decline in 'an extremely unstable market'

    MALLABIA, Spain - The sector has once again experienced an extremely unstable period where excess supply and the search for liquidity forced brands to make widespread discounts, critically deteriorating margins, writes Orbea in its annual report. For Orbea the market situation resulted in an 8% decrease in turnover.

    Orbea reports 'strong progress' despite decrease in turnover

    MALLABIA, Spain - The turbulent 2023 market conditions with instability, excess supply and widespread discounting among competitors that deteriorated margins and, in some cases, questioned the sustainability of business, writes Orbea in its annual report. For Orbea the market situation resulted in a 6.4% decrease in turnover.
