As Portugal's AM2R programme nears completion at the end of 2025, the country's two-wheel industry stands transformed. Launched with the backing of the EU's Recovery and Resilience Plan, the project managed to unite 47 companies and institutional partners under the coordination of ABIMOTA, Portugal's national two-wheeler association.

At the 717 JD Cycling Festival in Beijing, the silver-gray, drop-bar folding bike Dahon P18 Ultra zipped past the finish line and claimed victory with lightning speed. With this performance, it challenged the industry's perception that "portability and speed cannot coexist" for folding bikes. The decisive victory not only ignited a renewed interest in folding bikes among cycling enthusiasts, but also brought the company's proprietary bike tech Dahon-V into the spotlight for its speed.

Many bicycle experts believe that automatic shifting will be the next major technological revolution in cycling. Taiwanese component specialist TRP and German e-bike expert Bosch eBike Systems are making it happen. At Eurobike, they will present the TRP x Bosch eShift system to the world for the first time.

Enduo Mobility has come up with a robust solution for e-cargo chaindrive systems called EnduoCargo. It's designed to endure heavy loads under challenging conditions alongside providing a safe and long-lasting cycle experience for the rider.
